Picking up a bike.

Suzuki new guy!

Just an awful topic. I've had my bike for 2 months and fortunately haven't yet dumped it. Although, everyone assures me that my time is coming. I've been told that you should face the bike as well as face away from the bike. There's got to be a "best" method.
Would appreciate some input.

I've had mine fall over twice. Once last week while backing up in front of a cop. A good yank and after it's a foot off the ground the rest is pretty easy.

BTW, first drop was a tail light. The second was a brake handle.
