Has anyone had this problem. All my pictures are too big to post. Is there a way to make them fit. Or a trick I need to know about. What am I missing??? :roll:

You can resize them in Paint too, if you don't have Photo Shop.

I can resize but when I do it is just like my avtar. I dont know how to put a full sized pic on.

I can get a picture to post as a link, but not the picture itself in the thread. I'm PC Calllenged and it's ARGGHHHH! Can't seem to get the Image thing to work.

You don't have to reduce them to avatar size. the software willl allow you to download a larger version, just not the original size.

HELP! We need a PC Guru! Anyone?

look at the top left of this page, USER CP, Edit profile picture.

Open new thread or reply.
Click on Enhanced mode.
Scroll to Manage Attachments and click.
Click browse to find picture on your PC.
Once found click upload.
Close window.
Then click submit.

There's a nice and FREE imaging program a bit more functional than MS Paint called Irfanview. I use it pretty often. It allows you to change the size of pics or even save them as a different format. Play around with it a little and you'll get the feel for it.

My digitla camera takes pics at 300dpi and about 1600 resolution. I have to go into Photoshop and change it to 100dpi and 500 resolution before I can post a picture. You have to find a program that will let you change those properties. There are several out there. The ones listed above will work just fine. In Photoshop its under IMAGE and IMAGE SIZE
