The bike is finally home, and my wife and daughter differ on the headlight ornament which I haven't yet mounted. Daughter says that it adds character. Wife says it looks stupid.

Should I stay or should I go now?

I think the fixture itself is pretty cool, but seems oddly out of place in that position. What about on the passenger seat? Maybe down on the fender? Maybe it's best left off.

I once had some "Jolly Roger" stickers on my black Bandit. When I put them on, I really liked them. As time went on, I eventually decided that I didn't like them, so I took them off.

My recommendation: Leave it on for awhile. If/when you get tired of it, take it off. No biggie.

I have to agree with meat. It seems out of place right there. I kind of like it as I think it goes with the color of the bike, but it doesn't look to good on the headlight.

Wives ALWAYS say that what we do is stupid. That's their job. I agree with your daughter, it adds Character. I would also paint a smilie on the headlight lens. As Rick Nelson said, you can't please everyone so you gotta please yourself.
