Hi! Anyone here who can help me with my problem :?: My 01 gsxr 750 engine is to be built into a hillclimb chassis and I suspect that the powervalve-servo is broken. Therefore I would like to remove the powervalve on my engine. Can I just plain and simple unwire and remove it, or will I in such case get problems starting/running the engine? If it won`t run, is there a way of bypassing the system so it runs anyway?

The powervalve i refer to is the rack of "throttle valves" mounted just inside the air intake of the injection before you reach the real throttle valves. the powervalves are not controlled by the throttle but by a electric servo that keep them nearly closed at low revs and open up at higher revs. The function of these valves, im told, are to keep the sound of the engine within legal limits on the lower revs (less air intake sound), but will add some extra power to the engine at lower revs if always kept in open position.
