Hi all...first post here. I'm looking to buy my first cruiser and I've been looking around for a few weeks at different bikes. I've really taken a liking to the Volusia/C50 lately and was just about set on buying a new C50. Then recently I saw an '03 for sale close by and it has me thinking. The asking price is $4800 for a bike with under 4K miles, windshield, saddlebags, sissy bar and other small accessories. How does this price sound to you all?

That's about right for this year bike, and the book value assumes a lot more miles. I have seen 03 Vols go for a lot more with accessories, so I would pay that for it, assuming the bike is in good shape and it has clear title. I am a big fan of buying used and letting someone else take the hit on depreciation.

I've got one for sale, 03 Volusia anniversary edtition SE. Asking $12,000 but for a member here I'd be willing to let it go for $11,500. LOL

I bought a brand new 04 Volusia in October. No miles, and never left the show room. $5600...

The bike you mentioned was $4800. I'd be inclined to think it was a bit on the pricey side, but there are the accessories, so that adds some value...

It's your call. I certainly wouldn't pay anymore, thats for sure...
