Its my first bike and already I am having problems. When I bought it, it started fine. But now it will start if it has been sitting for a while but not if the bike is hot. The starter clicks when I press it. I am pretty sure the battery is getting charged the head light dosn't seem dim (athough I could be wrong being as today is my first day ever riding it). If I leave the bike for a while the starter works after a bit of fiddling.

I dont have any money to take it to a shop so I HAVE to fix it myself. I would just push start it but cant with the automatic transmision.

Anyway any help at all would be appriciated greatly.

are you holding the clutch in? maybe check fuel stuff?

if it just clicks, there is a chance that you may need to get a new starter solinoid. Once solinoids get worn and old, they don't like to work once they get heat soaked. Let us know what happens after you get the battery charged and tested.
