Ok i painted my windshield gloss black.Looks really nice too.I almost had it covered in vinyl but 3/4 of the way on(full sheet) i started getting bad lines that i couldnt heat out of it.I had done well to that point. So...what i wanted to know is.What kind of clear coat paint will protect it like regular car paint? cause i know the brake caliper stuff i used looks great but will eventually scratch. I thought about taking to a maaco or somethign but they wont do a small peice like that.

Did you paint the inside or outside? Painting the inside often prevents this dilemma.

hehe i painted the outside.....I some plexiglass i painted with same stuff and turned it over.I didnt like the way it looked, but i called a local hot rod shop and they gave me a number to a place the does all kinds of painting large and small.He said they would do it for $15..so im cool now.
