They're not always right though

Read the workshop manual. It said undo the ten screws holding the engine cover on.
I undid the ten obvious screws.
Ten minutes of heaving, struggling and swearing later the cover still wouldn't come off.
Brother comes in the garage and says "What's that screw do?"
Undid the screw.
Delight and a beer for my brother.

Put the manual next to the toilet, as someone else suggested. Always need reading material and it's a great source of gee whiz info.

Yep! It's amazing how much useful info there is to be had in the Owners manual and the Service manual for you advanced readers! 8)
