I have an '03 Marauder 800. I love it. I wish the choke handle was in a more convenient place, but that's minor. I'm 6'6" tall and it's big enough for me to sit comfortably.

Has anyone seen one in person?

Any known issues with this bike so far?

Would this be a suitable bike for a 5-2" female ?? (wife)
The M50 will not be available until next year, early 2005 according to Suzuki. It is supposed to be fuel injected and quite a nice bike. 8) It won't have a choke to bother with....

Check it out in the new Motorcycle Cruiser magazine.

According to Suzuki, only the S40 (replaces Savage 650), S50 (Intruder 800), S83 (Intruder 1400), C50 (Volusia 800) and C90 (Volusia 1500) are in showrooms now. Though locally I've not seen the S50 as yet. The M50 (Marauder 800) is due in early 2005. This is to be followed by the M95 (built by Kawasaki, replaces the Marauder 1600) and the M105 (new size 1700cc) later in the year. The new year will also bring the C50T and C90T touring versions of the classic cruiser line.

My personal favorite so far is the C50. Since I'm not likely to trade in my GZ250 until June, I should have a pretty good selection to choose from by then.

Overall, I think the Boulevard is a great looking line. The fact that Suzuki is gonna back it up with loads of accessories and merchandise makes it even better in my eyes.

I just bought a Boulevard S83 a couple weeks ago. It's not a bad bike. Plenty of power, but I've not had anything to compare it to since my last bike, which was a 1982 GS1100L.
Since I haven't ridden a bike since 1994 it was a culture shock to start out riding the S83, but a pleasant one so far.
There are a few things I don't like about the bike, which is the handlebar reach. Too far for me to get comfortable. I think I need to see if there is a replacement to get them back a couple inches.
The second thing that I found not very pleasing is the seat section for the passenger. It's little! Now keep in mind, I am 5'3" and my girlfriend is the same height and a whopping 110 pounds, so she's no wide bottomed woman, and she's complaining of it being too small and hard. Accessories that I put on the bike so far are, windshield, backrest & pad and luggage rack. I ordered one of those nice looking gel seats they show in the catalog and had it on the bike long enough to sit on it, take it back off and send it back to where it came from. What a joke! It raised the seat level a couple inches, causing me to have to tippee toe to reach the ground and it was HARD. Not to mention, the passenger section was just as bad as what I started with.
I am noticing that the Boulevard parts are very similar, if n ot the same as the Intruder accessories. Looks like they are just putting on the stickers for the Boulevard.
Overall it's a nice ride and they added one super nice feature that the salesman didn't notice until he got it out in the sun. There is blue metal flakes in the black paint job. Nice touch!
