Even when my clutch is all the way in the bike starts to move or stalls as soon as i put it from nuetral to 1st any ideas?

looks like this question comes up alot.

I asked it not long ago....


Sounds like the clutch plates are not fully releasing when you pull the lever.


Could be the cable is worn/stretched and not pulling far enough.

Could be the clutlch basket has grooves worn into it from the plates pressing against it.... that makes then stick and not release.

My suggestion is to first change the oil and get a new cable. If that doesn't help, pull the clutch basket out, check for grooves, file if necessary.

are the plates new??? if the are make sure you have the right one. i had that problem and i took it to the dealer and they gave me thinner plates to help the draggin....
