Can anyone tell me the proper float height adjustment on a 1992 RM250?

Also are both the floats suppose to be the same height?

It has 2 individual floats...a mikuni carb...both floats act as one on the needle and seat but you could adjust one higher than the other (don't know why you would).I don't have a manual.

I am not sure on the exact spec on the float height for that year, but I do know they are supposed to be the same height. If you dont have a manual I suggest you call a dealer and if they are to lazy to help then purchase a manual for around 20 dollars

If your Mikuni carb has the twin floats riding on the guide pins in the bowl you'll have a brass U-shaped piece that contacts the pin in the side of the floats and then levers the needle into the seat. With the carb inverted, the float arm should be parallel to the bowl gasket surface. That's the normal float height. To adjust it, look for a tab that contacts the needle, this tab can be bent with a small screwdriver to change the level. The Keihen in different.
