i just bought my b12 and im pretty sure its right up there with the r6's and gixxers as far as power and the b has more low end grunt, no waiting till it hit11k before it makes the power, i can roll the throttle in 2nd and it picks my 220 lbs right up, and with the drag bars on and the rear lift it feels just like a gixxer in the twisties but alot less fatigue after an hour, but its up to you just buy big!!!
no replacement for displacement

I tryed my friend's SV 650 , we swapped bikes /mine is GSXR 600 04/ . We were riding in the canyons and I had almost the same fun with the SV as if I were with my bike, there was no problem following him on 'my' GIXXER whats so ever, and good brakes too. Not to mention the comfort.
But still The GIXXER is my baby. I love it dearly. The differnce was clear when I was goin aroun 90 m/h the SV was not that well planted as the GIXXER and when I shaked it left right /just for a test/ it felt flyghty and not stable so that gave me a quick feed back and I was proceeding with more caution afterwards.
