I've heard of people that "cut off" the radiator flow during winter so the bike runs "warmer". My SV runs betweem 175 and 205 in a cold winter day (30 to 50 F). Is that OK or should it run "warmer".

Also, I let the bike warm for about three minutes before using it (once it gets to 110) and never go above 5,000 RPM before it hits 175. Why? Why not. Any comments on this?

Cheers,

Serge
