Welcome to the site.
Now let's not generalise, not all service stations in canada have straight line air fill, matter of fact most here in Québec use the cheapest available which would be a little 90 degree fitting on the end of their air hoses.
Second Suzuki doesn't make the tire valve, you have tubes which means that like bicycle innertubes the valve comes attached to the innertube. Some are straight some are angled out to 45 or 90 degrees. On my Volusia thankfully it's at a comfortable 90 degrees.
Do you know if these are the original tires and innertubes ? I believe Suzuki uses innertubes with angled valve stems on most bikes ( that use innertubes of course ).
The permanent and most usefull fix would be to find out from your dealer if tubes with an angled valve are available and to change yours. This would allow you easy access to air whenever you're on the road. If not you may want to invest in a good tire pump, either foot operated or electric that has a valve head that fits your stem.
