Everyone who rides and knows of places where they can open up their ride and let it hang out need to keep them secret.
Before you know it word of mouth clutters what was once your source of personal freedom.
Last night we went to a bike night event and when it was winding down, a number of riders wanted to go a supposed "secret spot".
When we were coming off the main drive leading to the area, it was hard not to notice the 15+ bikes turning down the road, when we got there there was another couple dozen bikes already on scene.
Instead of riding there was actually a wait to get on and ride.
Needless to say this place has now been polluted.
Learn from this note and keep the spots to yourself, after all they are hard to find in the first place.

Everyone already knows about The Dragon.

Seriously, I think more people find those places on their own than through others. At least I do. I ride alone, and I do a lot of exploring. It's not as though motorcycling is a new thing. People have ridden all the roads you know about many times before.

Also, the favorite place needs to be used only as often as possible.

If you speed down your favorite road numeous days or times in a row, chances are pissed off neighbors will call the cops.

Keep your favorite roads good by trying to circulate your favorite roads so that cops don't decide its a new "best place" to tag sport bikes.

Couldn't agree w/you more on this Jay! Excellent point!

Cops in my area know my bike & almost know exactly when I ride  . I have 3 different routes that are each different lengths ranging from 20 - 100 miles within the city limits. The only thing that has saved me so far is the fact that I ride the speed limit 95% of the time. Even when it's tempting because they've always...I mean always showed up out of the blue. There is definitely an area that I have along each route that I can let Q-Rokit "breathe  ," so to speak & it doesn't involve traffic, pedestrians, etc.
