my DR200 is feeling abit sickly lately, seems like the power is not there.
n i have difficulty starting the bike in the morning as well.. will die off after it starts, n i have to hold the trottle to keep it from dying..

ive juz changed the spark plug n engine oil.. someone help me??

Have you cleaned out the carb and jets?

My recommendation as well. Carb definitely needs to be cleaned. Also, maybe use better gas, and clean the air filter (or replace it).

If cleaning the carb doesn't make a difference, the valve clearance may need re-setting.

yup, have wash the carb, re-tune, change my air-filter... the idling is there, nt a prob anymore, bt i need to crank abt 4-5times to get it started...

btw wats the best gear ratio u guys recommend for normal transportation ard town? dun tink i will ever get the chance to trail... i mite wana play pick up at traffics though... btw my topspeed is only 100km/hr.. is tat normal?

I had this problem..... so easy!

Check the commpression

that was my problem. i cleaned everything like u did and rebluid my carb new piston rings and still nothing.. The 2 valves were bent and i was loosing all my compression.
