i have a 1992 gsxr 600, its very beautiful and in great cond. i just want it to stay that way.

can someone point me in the direction on frame sliders, swingarm sliders and bar sliders??????
i cant find ne for my year!!!

Frame sliders often mount directly to the frame in the general vicinity of the engine. They are made of metal, nylon, or other composites and look like mushrooms or studs.

Take a look at the picture and you'll see frame sliders as well as swingarm spools/sliders. these were from Lockhart/Phillips. Carbon fiber exterior with billet ends that can be replaced.

In the UK frame sliders are called crash mushrooms.I have a cheap set fitted,about £25 sterling.

They have already saved bike when i dropped it on a roundabout on sheet ice. :wink:

frame sliders???? how much space do they usualy keep the bike off the ground??? Wil they pretty much protect the feirings ??

They just clear the fairing so that the fairings don't get scratched if it tips over. If it goes down while at speed there is no way to tell if they will protect anything or not depending on the angle of impact.
