Well, for all you SV guys/girls out there, I'm sure you know what stock exhaust sounds like on 'em. What would a slip on yoshimura sound like on a V-twin? Does anybody have any recommendations for slip ons? There aren't too many options out there for an 05 sv650s. Will exhaust for 00-04 work? Thanks

I'm pretty sure an 04 pipe would fit on the 05 models but I'm not totally sure. The V-Twins sound quite nice with a Yoshi pipe. It's more of a torquey sound than a whine like inline 4's. It will have a deeper, louder sound. I think you'd be more than happy with one. :smile:

I'm no ducati expert to say the least but I've heard for the second time my bike sounds like a ducati. Something about the scorpion pipe gives it a high class italian sound I guess.

I put a Yoshimura 2003 pipe on my Gixxer...it worked fine. But when I found out it was the wrong model and put the right one on I heard a definate sound difference.

I just heard the D & D on a sport bike page and it didn't specify which bike they were testing them with...but it sounded pretty bad a$$. It wouldn't make my sv sound like a hog from easy riders would it.
