Well I guess I was the victim of "constructive boredom" today. I went to the local automotive paint supplier today and picked up some pin striping. I applied the striping to my KCB helmet and walla...the helmet now has Mladin's Laguna look to it, it also matches the colors of the bike better. Here are some before and after shots.

Well actually, I am on the rescue. To answer your question, do I get my "ballzzz busted for having a donar cycle", YES, unmercilesly, especially when we respond to a motorcycle crash, that is when I hear the comments over the intercom. We acctually refer to the rescue as "the suck bus", because when your on the busiest rescue in the city, well...it sucks, especially after midnight. It took me about 2 years to get the balls to buy my bike, considering what I've seen. Oh, when I got home I figured the helmet needed a little more color on top, so I added more striping to the helmet.

Yeah, I get messed with all the time cuz I ride a "crotch rocket" and not a Harley like the others firefighters.

Oh well, sucks to be them ....
LOL! Our commander has a Hardly-Drivable too. Our volunteer firebrigade has 20 people, more than half of us have bikes - everything from dirt bikes to cruisers is represented. One of the commanding officers is a (what is the politically correct term?) dwarf - he is less than 4 feet tall. He has a quad ... :)

How about this for a perspective, my dept. has 240 members, one of the few FD on the east coast that has more members than it's PD, 210. I would have to say that at least 60% of the guys have bikes, I am one of three who ride a street bike. It is so funny when I go out riding with my friends from work....just, very funny  .... Here you have a group of guys wearing all leathers, "harley"(doesn't even warrant a capital, H) type gear, and I tool up with my GSXR, dressed in street gear, LOL!!!

Oh, check out this pic of a crash I found online, "Holy $hit"
