i have a 00' rm125. i put a pro circuit pipe and shorty on it. my problem with the bike is that is smokes alot, even before i put the pipe on. could it be i'm mixing too much oil? also does a performance reed valve do much for power, the bike kind of struggles at the bottom.

it's a 2-stroke, it's gonna smoke. but what ratio are u running? i usually ran between 13 or 14:1 in my race bikes. that's with FASS GASS race gas though. 115+octane. u'll also need to rejet the bike since u've added the higher flowing pipe.

If you have too much oil in your mix it will smoke more than a low oil mix. But dont worry about it. If you get too little oil you will screw up your bike.

yea, reed valves seem to help quite a bit. we ran V-force Deltas with our team.

I MIX 32:1 93 OCT. should i go to 40:1 and then rejet? if i rejet how do i know what size needle to order from the dealer?

oops, i typed in the wrong ratios earlier. haha, i'm an idiot, it's been a while. yea 40:1 is what u should be running. if you dont like the smoke, there is smokeless 2stroke premix oil out there, it's a lil bit more expensive though. but if you race indoors, most require it.
