Well everything was going perfect. Then tonight the wife calls and wants me to hurry up and meet her at the new Halloween Store. So I pull the bike out of the garage, put down the kick stand and go inside the garage to close it and I hear WAM!!!! I turn around and the bike is laying on the ground....****!

So I pick it up and the fairings are scratched a little bit. Now I have to get new fairings...(well I don't have to, but I can't stand even the smallest scratch). Does ANYBODY know where I can order new, painted fairings?

TIA, Mike

Best bet is Ebay, but be careful when you buy.

(For God's sake if it's not that bad have a shop fix it. Trust me it will be cheaper than a NEW FAIRING).

Sorry you had the drop today, but gave me a bit of a chuckle cause I just dropped mine in the garage tonight too! No damage that I can see yet, but it still pissed me off. I was putting it down of the rear wheel stand, and I thought the sidestand would hold. Well, it didn't and the bike fell. I hope you can get your damage fixed for not too much$$

We told you you'd drop it.

I can get you a half-price deal on your scratches. Ignore them, and send me half your money. Now that it's no longer a poser bike, go ride!

I didn't drop it, the kick stand collapsed. But I don't want any scratches on my bike...I need it fixed.

start with a dealer, he MAY be able to get older fairings like that. Then hit up ebay!

Okay, maybe this is how I should go about it...is there a new sticker package I can buy? I would like to possibly change the color of the bike to something a little more flashy....any ideas of where I can get them?

Or you can just take it to a good paintshop and when they sand the plastic to prep it that will take out the scratches. Look around and you can find some really good deals.

Any bodywork shop can probably do the work for you whether it is for bikes or not.

My friend laid his down at the track going 80mph once and the right side of pretty much all the fairings needed work. I can't see where the old and new work came together, and he paid a stranger garage to do the work for him for 300 dollars without REPLACING any plastic.

I'm sure when yours tipped over in the garage it wasn't as bad as my friends and his at 80mph. I see no reason for it to cost NEARLY 300 dollars to have it fixed.

(PS sorry again about the tip over, I would be pissed also).
