Hi I'm getting back into riding after a 20 year gap, I now live in Thailand where the roads are not that good with pot holes, loose surface ect a common issue. Got a CB650F, good getting back into riding bike for now. My question is, I can understand how a steering damper would help with road conditions, but will it limit the ability to swerve to miss pot holes ect. i;e Sharpe quick inputs to swerve around things. Also its common for cars to pull out so you need to swerve around them sometimes. Anyone got any experience with after market steering dampers. price is not an issue. Thanks in advance for any replies

My personal opinion is: If it didn't have one stock, don't add one.
But I also don't think it would make a significant difference with sudden maneuvers at speed because there really isn't THAT much movement of the bars involved.
