:? I posted this on the cruiser site and it was suggested I post here too. I have a 2003 Suzuki 1500 Intruder with about 4000 miles. I have had the reg. servicing. Yesterday in about 65 degree weather I was in stop and go traffic for about 20 min when the bike just died. Plenty of fuel and oil. I immediately pulled in the clutch and tried to start if jumped backfired initially started and then died when I went into gear. After this it would not start. Initially it tried to turn over but then the starter couldn't turn the engine over. After about 30-40 min when cool, it started. Any ideas?

Too hot??

Yeah, I thought it was too hot as well, but I have ridden in the summer with no problems. This was a perfect day. The only problem was the stop and start traffic. It is not unlikely that while commuting to work that I will be in some traffic. But, I can't have my bike konking out with so little strain. Does anyone think that it could be some problem with the air cooling system (faulty oil pump, etc.)?
