Hi! I'm busy fixing up a old DR200 but before I order the parts I need I want to make sure I get the correct ones.
My motorcycle's VIN only has 11 digets, and I wanted to know how to get the year model of of it. The VIN is: SH42A117617
(I am in South Africa incase that maters)

my dad bought it off of his friend a couple years ago, we dont have any real info about it and so far suzuki has not answered any of my emails

It is typical for big corporations to ignore questions from customers these days.
Find a Suzuki dealer and ask them.
