Hello Wise Ones,
When I turn the choke knob (up and down when off), I can only get it to turn to the right about 40 degrees then it stops, so choke not fully on and bike will not start in the cold. Ever since I bought the bike it was hard to get the knob to go down to 90 degrees, now it won't go.
I tried lubing at that point, but still won't go. Would like to avoid taking seat off, tank off, etc. Any easy fixes to this?
Thank you.

Don't know the details of that model but you probably are going to have to detach the cable from the choke mechanism at the carb(s) to find out where the problem really IS. My guess is the cable itself or the knob.
If the seat is mounted in any way similar to the S80 I don't blame you for not wanting to take the seat off.
Worst design ever of something that should be simple .

Thank you Easy Rider. You are probably correct, unfortunately. So, I will begin the process of removing all that stuff!
Then I can see if the problem lies right there where the cable enters the carb.
