Any contraindications to using synthetic oil in '04 'busa?

I wouldnt think so. Synthetic oils usually perfrom a lot better than conventional and have a much better pour rating. I use synthetic in all of my engine applications.

No, but break the motor in first. I have heard after about 1,500 miles you can switch it over to synth.

Thanks for the replies. Confirmed what I was already thinking. BTW, I had a 1995 dodge with a V10 that I bought new and used synthetic in. I sold it at 176000 miles and had never had to do anything to the motor beyond oil changes. It still runs as new and uses no oil. It was/is used hard.
