Hint: Isotoners are NOT protective gear! ;-)

Seriously, that's EXACTLY what the class is geared for: newbies. They'll start you off with some classroom instruction, then you'll get on the bikes (small ones, which are nice) and without even starting them, they'll teach you about hefting the weight of the bike, etc. Next, they'll have you start it and bounce off the clutch a few times (let it out enough to barely pull the bike forward), before doing a few "duck walks" up and down the track to get familiar with the friction zone of the clutch. It gets progressively more technical from there, but they take baby steps, so the learning curve is nice and flat.

You'll do fine.

The MSF course is the best place to start. Listen, learn the techniques taught, then practice practice practice. Most things about riding come naturally but countersteering and turning your head and eyes in the direction you want to go, don't. So practice that and low speed manuvering the most. Enjoy the class. It is the best investment you can make in your riding.
