In my area, I see about a 50/50 ratio of gixxers to R6 and R1s. I asked a dealer in Hartford which he sells more of between the two and he said the Yamahas tend to sell a little better than the Suzukis. I was just curious which is the better seller in YOUR area.

Here in Auburn, AL, i would say i've seen a majority of R6's and a few 600Rs. A couple SV650's. I"m sure there's more thats just the main ones i see. Every blue moon see a GSXR. And apparantly I now have the only Black and orange Gixxer 600 in the area. The only other guy to have one totaled it out and got a new 600RR.

The Yama dealer here isn't really that friendly, stoped in a few times when i had my raptor. But back home in GA the dealer I got the raptor from was a bunch of awsome guys. Work with ya no matter what. The Suzuki dealer I got mine from in Opelika, AL was great to deal with, went to Montgomery the next day to pick it up for me. Even threw in a HJC helment for me. :)

Mostly gixxers here. Its kinda a thing where the guys that have always rode Yamaha's keep buying. I would say that with the 636 and ZX-10 being so strong its sales here are pretty close to Yamaha's. You see a bunch of them.

I come from a small town but out of the 15 or so that have sportbikes in my immediate area, I would say 10 are CBR's ad the remaining at Gixxer's... all 600 and 750's

You wouldn't believe how many R1's and R6's are around here.
You ride around the Lakes in Minneapolis and there are lines of guys and their R1's parked on the side of the road leaning on their bikes trying to pick up chicks!

Come to think of it...it's rare that I see them actually riding!
They do run, right??

I actually see relatively few Yammies here in San Diego... Honda seems to be the most popular, oddly, I see CBRs and RRs all the time.

However, having said that, I was riding back from the mall on Sunday and to my amazement saw another brand new yellow/black Gixxer 600 right in front of me. When we realized we both had the exact same bike, right down to the lack of license plate, we checked each other out for a mile or two, then nodded a friendly nod to each other and went our respective ways :)
