This might very well be the last long ride of the 2016 season for me. Only city riding for the rest of it.
Even though, riding on wet is not the greatest experience and near the top of the mountains I though I would lose my fingers to frostbite, the colours and the landscapes made it all worth it.
Also, the first snow of this season ! Definitely worth freezing

Where are you from tRider?

Here in Atlantic Canada, though it has been a warm fall, summer is definitely over. Here as well, this is the nicest scenic part of the year and like you said, worth getting a little cold to ride the back roads and see the colors. Though we can city ride until mid-November here (the die-hard's go longer), but it is coming to the end of the long ride season. When you have to bike with skidoo gloves, its getting a little much! lol

Time to put her up of jacks and put the cover on. :-( whine and cry until the spring ... :mrgreen:

I am from Romania. Well in Europe last year, the temperatures were decent up until the winter holidays. No outside city limits rides though, too cold for that. I actually put the bike under cover for the winter around 20'th of December.
I'm not expecting this to happen this year as well but I'm still optimistic. The first snowfall in the city is usually my clear season end, there's no way around that.
