So i am sitting at a stop light, and all of a sudden i hear a whistle. I look over and buddy is pointing to my tire. I flip up my visor and ask him what is wrong, "your tire is slack" he says. I look down, sure enough it's slack. So i head home, and find this giant hole in the back tire. I got my tire pressure guage, but it was broke. So i went to the garage came and filled the tire. Came home and got some soap and water to spray on the hole to see how bad it was leaking. Got some pretty large bubbles.

Not to impressed, brand new '05 with not even 700km on her and i got to get a new back tire.

That sucks alright, but that kinda crap happens. You aren't the first to experience it and you won't be the last. I don't blame you for being ticked about it.

Hey, I got a flat in my tire less than 300 miles after I bought it. Good news though, it should be OK to patch it internally and ride on it as long as you arn't tracking. Anyways that is according to the friendly mechanic who switched out my tire. Dunno how large your hole is though.
