Hi everybody,
I received a TS 185 from my uncle that he bought in the late 70's 80's and he lost all the paperwork. I identified an oil leak coming from the clutch and found out that a rubber joint around the clutch "spike" (???) was knackered. I went to 2 suzuki dealers but were both astonished for the bike to have a clutch spike, as TS 185 usually do not have them they told me. Also the clutch on my bike is located on the left hand side whereas on a more recent TS 185 I noticed it was located on the right hand side of the bike.
This make it difficult for them the identify the number of the spare part in order to check if they can still order it.
The engine number of the bike is TS 185 112188, while the frame is TS185 112 126.
Can anybody help ? Maybe that bike has been modified (I remember seeing a 500cc inscription somewhere on the engine)? Or is it an early TS 185 model (I do not know the year of the bike) that had a "spike" clutch?
Thank you very much in advance for any help.

no it s definitely a TS 185. I actually just found out the model and year (TS 185 L Sierra 1974) on this very useful site http://www.suzukicycles.org/All-Suzuki/all_suzuki_models.html)
It s much older than I thought and that s probably why they could not find the proper microfiche by the dealer, so I am going to go back to them with that info and see what they can find.
cheers for your help :D
