Anyone in the Tucson area that is looking to take a day cruise on the weekend somewhere for lunch?

I need someone to show me some good roads to check out around the area.

I'm looking to get out sometime toward the middle to end of May after I have taken my ERC class and made the military happy.

Say Jason, I'm in LA now but I grew up in Tucson. Here are a few suggestions.
Try Mt Lemmon up Catalina Highway. The ride up Kitts Peak to the observatory is nice twisty ride. Gates pass is nice too. For a longer ride head for Safford and ride The Devils Highway! Route 666, since changed to 192 I think.

I might do one of my "Day Rides" to Tucson soon for lunch. Maybe we can meet up. Is 1060 mile round trip to far for a "Whatabuger" for lunch?

1060? Naw, as long as you remember to get jalapenos.

I used to live in Irvine, Ca, so maybe I'll take a spin out there one day too.
I love jalapenos, but the last few years, my body hates them!

So where have you been riding? I checked a map, Devils Highway is now 191. It's a real nice ride up to Springerville.

I found it! But it's in California! Try the road up to Mt. Lemmon on a weekday. Hey is Reddington Pass paved now? If it is that would be a good ride. Was dirt when I was there. Hell, I used to ride to the top of Sabino Cyn, but thats been closed to vehicles for years now.
