Question. Dealer is charging 6 hours labor to change plugs and check valve clearance on a 2018 C50 Sounds a little excessive to me???? Should I find another dealer? Thanks in advance!

I am not much of a mechanic, so I am at the mercy of the dealer, except for oil changes.

Have heard it is quiet involved with these machines....check it out on YouTube to see how long it takes would be my advice.

I've had maybe 20 bikes over more than 50 years and don't remember that last time I had valves checked/adjusted on any of them.

Unless you ride a LOT of HARD miles, I wouldn't worry about it.

100 % agree valves rarely need adjusting listen for any tapping sounds but i run a synthetic oil on my c50 and works great while eliminating noise and I change my own plugs
