Hi,
I just subscribed to this forum hoping to find some help.
I own a secondhand vx800 with a full service record, one previous owner.
I am having some trouble with the bike
Where i am riding the bike mid ride it will go over
to running on one cylinder losing all its power sputtering then dying.
I checked the carbs, they are clean as hell.
I checked the pump, it had some old rust that seems to have come from the tank.
I removed it and cleanined every millimetre of it checked the memvranesband everything.
I had some advice from a friend saying that when it happens again i should remove the plugs
and check the condition to get a hint.
The plugs are dry, one is slightly sooty and the other is near perfect
It seems liketye carbs are emptying too fast.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
