My vx800 has started making a really loud noise coming from the rear cyclinder head, it gradually got louder and louder, it then started to loose power, and finally the temp light came on, the radiator fan kicked in tool cool the rad, I checked all the fluids and there where ok, after the bike cooled down I tried to ride it again but it would not pull past 2500rpm, there was no smoking coming out of the exhausts, does anybody now what would cause this, I was thinking along the lines that maybe the cam chain needs replacing or maybe the water pump has gone??????Any ideas would be appreciated.
