well this is what is going on my bike when i ride seems like it is not firing off of all cylinders. it does it off and on and i will take the airbox off and put it back on and its fine then i ride for awhile and it does it again.. i thought maybe it was a wire that was touching the airbox and moving around but i looked at them when i put it back on and they r not touching anything.. im begining to think that its the ignition coils going bad if im on track let me know or if anyone knows what the hell is going on let me know b4 my next thread is about a bike that was blown up .
thanks

they still have a gap
A gap? Is it the correct gap? When plugs get worn, the gap gets too big. That can cause exactly the problems you mentioned. Opening the airbox changes the mixture, which could be a temporary fix.

You should know that they don't come pre-gapped. You have to do that yourself.
