Hi, I just got myself a 03 gsx-r750. Is it normal to hear this high pitched noise after i turn the bike off? I cant really describe the noise but its very annoying and its like some ringing noise. Well experienced riders can you help me out? I have so much to learn. Thanks

Do you also hear the sound when you put the key "ON" and turn off the engine kill-switch? When I do that, the tacho and spedo both wind up full scale and drop back to 0, and at the same time the fuel-injector "buzzes" as its building up pressure. Does the GSX-R 750 also have fuel injection? If so, that may be the sound you are hearing.

HHAHA.

Thats just the gas pressure squealing outta the tank. Pop open the gas lid and it will go, "POOF."

The pressure builds up from the high temperatures of the gas in the tank.
