Installed a new plug...Still had it..Cleaned the jet screw....still had it, now I replaced the Reeds and I STILL have it...Anyone know what else to look at???? The compression is good, and the fluids are all perfect and fresh... Anyone help???

Hesitation as in you twist the throttle but it doesn't go right away? Might be that the cleaning of the jet screw is not enough, might ned new needles.

How old is your RM?

My Rm 125 is a 89. Yeah its when I crank the throttle its boggy for a couple seconds then all of a sudden will go. And its smokes when its boggin too. But then in late 2nd gear and late 1st gear it clears up and runs like a top. I just figure that the snap should be right there and I wouldnt have to really crank on it to try to ride a wheelie ya know??

mmmmmmm Throttle boggy's those are tasty.... Mmmmm..

You need a piston kit!! Carb no fix it,

i know you may THINK your compression is good but theese little bikes its highter than you think

I was running 125LB in my sp 125 when i should`ve been runnin 170-210
did a rebuild.. runs like a rolex.. Without a muffler. So kind of sounds like a harley...

look up compression specs, and take the comperession and see if its making it...

Ts ... please, please, please ... the english language includes some very useful words: prepositions, nouns, verbs and adverbs, just to name a few. Try to use all of them in your posts - a balanced diet is healthier for everyone.

If the compression is consistent and in spec in the cylinder(s) and you have just cleaned the carb(s), the next step I would take would be to rebuild the carb(s) first. If the situation still isn't solved, then I would consider a tear-down of the engine and a ring-job. Sometimes big problems can be fixed with small solutions.

Allright, well I got it ripped into it tonight and could see some wear. I have a scorn part in the front of the piston and some in the jug. Not too bad in the jug, so Ill get it acid washed and see how it comes out, but Im gonna need a new piston for sure. If the jug is messed up, shes gonna get bored a bit. Any suggestions on what piston to go with and what size to bore it??

Check your fuel/oil ratio and your jetting that piston has been
leaned out. I've seen too many people trash a re-build because
they were leaned out and didn't fix the problem, only fixed the
end result and thought it was OK.
