Have they fixed the problem with the Kryptonite locks yet?
Yeah they did but the back log of people waiting on UPS call tags to send in their old barrel key locks to have them swapped out to key locks is months long!!! I picked up a disc lock for Biketoberfest and registered with Krypto that following week to have my swapped out and I'm still waiting today. I just hope that by Bike Week I'll have the newer key lock.

Pug - I'd go with the disc lock over the clamp cause I could cut your brake line or undo the bleeder screw much easier and faster then I could try to torch thru a disc lock. And get the disc lock reminder coil too. It's worth the $5. Tomorrow I'll post a pic of how I chain my bike up at night when I don't put her in the storage unit. It may not stop a pro who wants my SV but it's not going to a simple lift and go grab either.

I had a disk lock on my 125 - without the reminder coil. It ended up costing me about $400, because I hopped on the bike without thinking, and dropped it as I tried to pull away. Result: 1 bent brake lever, scratches on the bar end and a scratched motor case.

Of course, this happened about 2 weeks before I was going to trade in the 125, so the dealer just looked at it, took the list price for the repairs, and deducted it from the trade-in value.

So, those $5 would have paid for themselves 80 times ... !!! (The lock I had didn't offer the reminder coil - d'oh!)
