No, but my buddy used to. It was cheaper and better to just go buy the real thing.

I used to make my own wine and occasionally beer.

I used winemaking kits but then started buying grapes, crushing them and going that route. A buddy and I also had a deal with an apple orchard operator - we got carboys of freshly pressed juice (before any preservatives were added) and made apple wine.

I've also made strawberry, watermelon, blueberry and plum wine. I've made port and sake as well.

Oh, and on topic...I ride to work all the time. Someone asked me yesterday if I had put my bike on the road yet.

I paused and stared at her for a few seconds, then explained that I never took it "off" the road all winter.
