I am really considering attempting to make my own. All of these projects and no time to do them. THe cobras seem to big for my taste, and like you said the oem's are too small. Whats a bear to do? These showchrome bars are looking fairly promising though.

I have the showchromes and they won't protect the tank and barely protect the engine. Also seems like pegs would interfere with the break and shifter. With what i know now i would not buy them.

The showchrome are less protruding so if they did protect your legs it would be close. maybe the lower leg. I havent been riding long enuf to have had the opportunity to lay one down yet (hope I never do), so I cant speak from experience. One of the reviews on the CC website sums it up fairly well by saying they look really good but questionable protection for anything other than the crank case. I agree with Cornell about the pegs. It looks like The heel of the shoe would be touching the shifter and brake.

I ordered them through Extreme Suzuki when Dave was still there. He researched them and found that they would fit. The contact now is Eric, call at 866-779-8736. They are not made exclusively for the M50, but I had no trouble with installing them.

You may be better off contacting Lindby directly for questions ( http://www.lindbycustom.com ). They can refer to dealers, I know Cruiser Customizing also carries them.

Love the Lindby's. Strong look, different look, very comfortable on the highway, scares the children and turns on their mothers. What more could you ask for?

i was admiring the paint too much to even notice. do they scrape before the pegs and have you lowered your bike??

Thanks. Ride on down for a week and we'll get some flames done on your bike as well. You know you want to. ;)

No, I haven't lowered my bike, and no, they didn't scrape first.
Sharpened the tips of my Stiletto pegs nicely about 1/2-dozen times though on the second day of the Dragon.

Use paper plates, they don't break.

Cook things that clean up easy, no spaghetti sauces, etc.

Plastic cups only, glass hurts.

Clean and put away all knifes, pots and pans. Install child safety locks on cabinets, it'll give another few seconds head start.

While flowers seem right, it only triggers their warning indicators that you did something wrong. Catch her off guard with something like a CD or a new Ferrari.

Once you dog house that you're sleeping in gets too uncomfortable, you always have a couch here to crash on.

Good luck, and we'll miss you.
