Yamaha claims that the roadliner & stratoliner can get up to 200 miles on a tank of gas. That would equal about 48 mpg. I'm getting about 130 miles per tank which is about 32 1/2 mpg. What are other roadliner or stratoliner riders getting?
It's interesting to hear about cooler weather riding in Texas and other southern states. I live in Michigan and spend quite a bit of time riding when the mornings are 36 to 40 degrees and afternoon highs reach a sweltering 50 degrees.terryc said:Now that I've got some more miles on the 'Liner, the mileage has gone up some. After the 600 mi service I noticed it rise about 2mpg, so I'm averaging about 44-45mpg. I am a somewhat conservative rider. For mainly highway mileage, it has been around 48mpg with the tall w/s. I suspect the windshield may cost about 2 mpg on highway speeds (65-75).

( I, too, really enjoy this 'Liner. Not much for cooler weather riding so I will not be riding much this winter. We at least get some days that it will be warm enough.)
Hey GTCJohngtcjohn said:Hi Jammin,
How much did you pay OTD for your strato? Is it '07 model? or '06?
I am considering now to get one for me soon.
Thanks.

I'll see how mine does after the 4000 mi service. She's put away for the winter and I've got 3900 miles on her. So it looks like everything's on hold until March or so.Jammin'John said:I have 736 miles on her and am getting 40 mpg when cruising !![]()
